Lumbridgecity has introduced me to a lot of fantastic people!

I’ve had a blast creating the site, experimenting with various social media promotional strategies, building a community, releasing a clickbank product and establishing partnerships throughout the niche community.

I’ll have a lot more detail here about this project, the lessons I learned, and how this testing ground has shaped the direction of my present and future online marketing campaigns and long-term projects.

In October of 2011, this project is on the back-burners and the forum is now managed by volunteer moderators.

Case Study of the  Blog and Social Media Marketing Strategy for Tourism Businesses - put to use in another topic area as a test project.

In one year, the email list grew to over 5000 subscribers. The YouTube channel grew to over 600 subscribers. The page on Facebook has over 1000 fans and the Twitter account has over 900 followers. The community forum has grown to over 800 members.

Paid membership upgrade.  This site was also a successful practice run for setting up a reoccurring membership product with Clickbank.  It has lead to other implementing other successful Clickbank products, and is under development for a re-release of an improved membership offer.

Demonstrator Project

This project was created, grown and developed to demonstrate the potential of each of the marketing strategies we use for Tourism Marketing with Social Media.
