			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>While marketing on the internet will always change and evolve, links will always be the currency.</p>
<p><strong>Links are the DNA of the Internet.</strong></p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">Currently, many search engines rank web pages based on the links pointing to them, and what those links are saying about them.</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">With this basic tenant in mind, I have found <strong>new and lasting success in marketing</strong> new content and new offers by turning to the proliferation of Web 2.0 sites where I can set up social profiles and publish themed articles.</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">To promote this new content, I created a short article that introduced the new fishing videos linked back into the new video section.  I posted the new article to a popular document sharing website and to a blog I had previously created.</p>
<p><strong>These Web 2.0 site placements are very powerful</strong> for themeing the links that are pointing to my new content, which is important for my search engine rankings, but more than that, these Web 2.0 placements <strong>bring REAL traffic </strong>of visitors who subscribe and purchase.</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">Once I spread the marketing article around, and integrated into, to as many of these big Web 2.0 properties as I can, then I start bookmarking.</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">I entrench the new content into the &#8216;fishing video niche&#8217; with an account on StumbleUpon that has a list of friends who also stumble fishing websites.  Again &#8211; this is great for the search engines &#8211; BUT it also brings REAL traffic of people who subscribe, download, sign up and purchase.</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">Another layer of Web 2.0 Marketing involves posting to the Video Sharing sites.  The same benefits of additional search engine ranking for your main site &#8211; and the same opportunity to have real people visit your offer and start building a relationship with your business&#8230;</p>

<p>Now I&#8217;ll take 30 minutes each day to Stumble all the important pages of my websites and even news releases and articles about my sites.</p>
<p>To help make sure the search engines quickly index everything I Stumble, I&#8217;ll take the RSS feed from my Stumble account, and add it to a few active blogs that I manage.</p>

<p>The shock took some time to wear off &#8211; and I realized I needed to learn all I can about all these user-generated-content  sites.</p>
<p>I needed to catch up to the industry.</p>
<p>What I needed was a complete perspective of the state of Web 2.0 &#8211; a categorized list of Web 2.0 sites would give me a great place to start… even before I went out and started registering.</p>
<p>For my own part, when I want to learn about something, I create a website about it.</p>
<p>My Web 2.0 List is a collection of categorized Web 2.0 sites where you can register and start contributing content!</p>
<p>With almost 30 Categories and over 200 Web 2.0 Website currently listed in our directory &#8211; this is the best starting point for any venture into a new topic, an new audience, or a new Niche market.</p>
