<p>Tourism Marketing Videos came to being in phases, as all good ideas do:</p>
<p><strong>First, I saw a glaring need:</strong> Lodge Owners need help learning how to manage their websites.</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">Recently I&#8217;ve upgraded many of my clients&#8217; websites to WordPress 2.7 </p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">Although their website is ten years old, many Lodge owners are just starting to Blog and update their own websites for the very first time.</p>

<p><strong>Second, I saw a way to offer much more help than I could provide on my own.</strong></p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">As I began researching what educational videos were available, I was &#8211; mostly &#8211; delighted with the results. I was delighted, because I started learning so much new information, I naturally started to bookmark and organize it.   </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>There was a day when I created a new website for each new subject area I needed to study.  Most of the time I didn&#8217;t care if people found it or read it&#8230;  they were like my University Notes &#8211; just in a place where I can find them.</p>
<p>The multiple websites helped me create a mini-net of internet real-estate that was very useful in search engine optimization tactics.</p>
<p>However, these days, it&#8217;s easy to create 100 useful Social Profiles and use those as your mini-net for search engine ranking strategies.  In addition, I&#8217;m now finding out that much of my old content gains a steady stream of traffic &#8211; and now that I&#8217;ve become more professional in my blogging, the visitors are clicking on the content, leaving comments, subscribing to my feeds &#8211; and yes, submitting requests for Web Design and Internet Marketing Quotes.</p>
<p>And so, I&#8217;ll be rolling a few of my Blogs together soon, making it easy for me to update one place, making it easy for you to search through some of my earlier jibberish, AND, making my old content start to earn some alternate revenue from my audience&#8230;</p>

Especially when I&#8217;m promoting emerging products or services that I&#8217;m still sorting out.</p>
<p>Actually, I bit into something so good,<br />
I haven&#8217;t been able to do very much client work for 6 weeks.</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;"><strong>I&#8217;m spending all my time learning how to teach building relationships<br />
with potential clients using Social Media.</strong></p>
<p>Aside from the usual summer visitors and a few weeks travel, I&#8217;ve been absorbed in the research and development, building the business case studies I need to have in place before I can feel comfortable charging people for the services I&#8217;m now promoting.</p>
<p><strong>Here&#8217;s what&#8217;s been keeping me busy:</strong></p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">1. Before I can sell a service to a client, it has to work for me.<br />
2. I can&#8217;t/won&#8217;t sell last year&#8217;s technology<br />
3. Tourism Marketing technology has recently completely changed.</p>
<p>Which &#8211; put me into a big R&amp;D phase to figure out</p>

<li>what works best,</li>
<li>how long does it take me to set up,</li>
<li>and how can I teach you to use it for next summer&#8230;</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Case Study #1</strong> -</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">I registered my name, douglaslampi &#8211; on all the social media sites and setting up <a href="http://www.douglampi.com/" target="_blank">www.douglampi.com</a> with all the social media connections I recommend my clients have set up for their Tourism Service.</p>
<p><strong>Case Study #2</strong> -</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">I registered, myshotokan everywhere and did minimal changes to <a href="http://www.myshotokan.com/" target="_blank">www.myshotokan.com</a>, as I might do for a client with an existing site, with minimal changes to the site&#8230;</p>

<p style="padding-left: 30px;">Now I&#8217;m being cocky and seeing what happens when I target the phrase &#8220;Tourism Marketing&#8221;, and &#8220;Tourism Internet Marekting&#8221; which has the best Search Engine Marketing experts&#8217; websites at the top&#8230;</p>

<p>During each demonstration, I will ask the audience for a topic &#8211; then I will follow the Ten Steps in a live demonstration!</p>
<p>Spending just 12 minutes per step, and without spending a dime,</p>
<ul>
<li>I create a place to make money, </li>
<li>set up a product offer, </li>
<li>and get traffic to the offer,</li>
</ul>
<p>&#8230;within 2 hours!  It is also very possible to get top 10 placements in Google within the two hours as well!</p>
<p><strong>After each presentation,</strong> participants will receive a small booklet that outlines the Ten Steps &#8211; and they can enter the Contest!  Each demonstration will be recorded and posted online to help the contest participants follow along the process!</p>
<p>It&#8217;s a simple contest &#8211; the person who follows the Ten Steps and makes the most money, wins the grand prize &#8211; valued at $1240!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>Adding a section of RSS video feeds to your site is another meaty option for those who want to gain more traffic to their websites.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s a few links to a fun website project I&#8217;m half way through.  All of the parts of the site work, but they all have a different template and different design at present.  While it may look like a junk-yard car put together from different colored units &#8211; all the pieces are shiney new, monsterously powerful machines.  This time working on the site, I added the machinery &#8211; now I&#8217;m working at getting it indexed in Google so I can assess the results, then, a month or so from now, I&#8217;ll rework all the sections with the same template, add in improvements and the cycle continues&#8230;</p>
